As you walk or drive through Miller.....

We encourage you to visit the Hand County County Courthouse and the McWhorter Museum.

Dedicated in 1926 it is one of the most beautiful in South Dakota. The Courthouse boast a gorgeous marble decor and a spectacular rotunda with a "Florentine" glass dome.  A mini museum displays Indian artifacts, antique guns and other items of interest.  It is located at 415 West First Avenue.   Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

 

 

 

 

Step back into the early 1900's with a tour of the McWhorter House Museum and Miller Depot.  The historical home features Victorian decor, antique furnishings, quilts and medical equipment for the past.  The Depot (not pictured) houses the Miller archives. The Museum and Depot are located on Broadway in Miller.
